In Dubai there has been AED 3 billion allocated to road projects in 2009. Abu Dhabi recently provided AED 5 billion for the Al Salam Street Project, Mafraq Interchange and Road to Al Ain projects to be developed in the near future. There are also multiple new and existing road projects in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Road Planning, Design and Construction 2010 has been created in response to the announcement of numerous large GCC infrastructure projects, including new road projects and improvements to existing road networks. This rapid sector growth presents unique planning design and construction challenges to the client, consultant and contractor.
