Piling & Deep Foundations Saudi Arabia was created by IQPC, in response to a request from Saudi engineers who attended our hugely successful Piling & Foundations Middle East summit. They wanted to see a similar conference held locally which addressed geotechnical problems specific to the Kingdom.
At Piling & Deep Foundations Saudi Arabia, you will meet the principals of the leading piling and foundation contractors at Piling & Deep Foundations Saudi Arabia on 7-10 November 2009 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is your chance to draw from their considerable experience of working in coralline strata with lots of cavities, collapsible and expandable soils, and hard granite across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi government’s ambitious investment programs, highlighted by the development and construction of economic cities across the kingdom, continue to attract private investment.
Mega developments, iconic high-rises, low-rises, villas and infrastructure projects all require innovative geotechnical engineering solutions in very distinctive ground conditions. Implementing foundation work along the western coast of the Kingdom in coralline strata, for example, is difficult. Coral formations are not well covered in soil mechanics books so much of the work is led by past experience and is unique to Saudi Arabia.
